Financial Services Advisory Lead - Banking, Risk & Regulation

A leading global consulting and accounting firm is establishing a new advisory activity focused on regulated financial institutions, and is looking for a strong leader to build and lead this domain.

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established firm with a strong footprint in governance, risk, and internal audit, and take on a strategic role that combines professional depth with real business-building impact.

You will work closely with top-tier banks and financial institutions, lead complex regulatory and risk-related projects, and play a key role in shaping and growing a new advisory offering within the firm.

What will you do?

- Build and lead a new advisory domain focused on regulated financial institutions
- Lead complex projects in risk, regulation, compliance, and governance
- Develop and expand service offerings based on market needs
- Work closely with banks and large financial institutions
- Drive business development and build long-term client relationships
- Gradually build and lead a professional team

- 7-12 years of experience within banking or regulated financial institutions
- Experience in mid-senior level headquarters roles (not branch-based roles)
- Proven experience leading projects, domains, or cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of financial activities (credit, risk, regulation, etc.)
- Familiarity with regulatory environments in financial institutions
- Experience in consulting / risk / regulation - a strong advantage
- Business-oriented mindset and ability to build relationships and identify opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
- Curiosity, flexibility, and the ability to quickly learn new domains
