Chief Operating Officer (COO)

A large, established and successful Israeli company with a nationwide footprint is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team.

This is a senior, high-impact executive role with overall responsibility for a large-scale, complex operation spanning dozens of locations across Israel.

The COO will lead a broad management structure and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including Facilities, maintenance, service delivery, vendors and contractors, budgets, operational controls and performance.

A major part of the role will be to create a strong, scalable operating model across a highly distributed organization - setting clear standards, strengthening management routines, improving service levels, driving efficiency and ensuring consistency across multiple sites.

The role requires someone who can operate at both strategic and execution levels: identify systemic issues, make complex operational decisions, step into critical situations when needed and, most importantly, build processes and management mechanisms that prevent recurring problems and reduce operational dependency on senior management.

The COO will also manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, work closely with senior executives, lead negotiations with major vendors and contractors and take responsibility for continuously improving operational quality, efficiency and service.

We are looking for a highly experienced operations executive who has already led a large, multi-site and people-intensive operation - someone who knows how to lead managers, create structure within complexity, drive accountability and turn a broad operational organization into a well-managed, high-performing system.

- 7+ years of experience managing a large multi-site operation across multiple locations
- Proven experience directly managing at least 20 employees, including managers
- Significant experience in Facilities and maintenance operations
- Strong experience managing a broad network of vendors and contractors
- Experience managing operational budgets, controls and efficiency initiatives
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing complex organizational interfaces
- Excellent systems thinking combined with a practical, hands-on management approach
