Principal Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a large-scale, data-oriented product specifically tailored for healthcare customers.

Design, implement, and scale data pipelines capable of reliably handling up to 300,000 requests per second.

Utilize state-of-the-art tools, including ClickHouse and Quickwit, to develop security products such as Network Detection and Response (NDR) and Policy and Risk Management (PRM).

Own the complete feature lifecycle, from initial concept and design through development, production deployment, and monitoring.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional backend development experience, with demonstrated proficiency in Python preferred.

Expertise in architecting and deploying scalable systems within SaaS and cloud technology environments.

Proven experience designing and implementing streaming or data-warehouse solutions for processing large-scale datasets.

Strong command of database design principles, including working with and optimizing large-scale production datasets.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional background in the cybersecurity domain or with IOT/IOMT systems.

Hands-on experience with core components of the current tech stack, including PostgreSQL, Redis, or Dagster.

Practical experience utilizing high-performance data technologies such as ClickHouse or Quickwit.

Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ) for asynchronous processing in a distributed system.

Experience taking full ownership of features from design through to production.

Prior success working within cross-functional teams in an innovation-driven environment.
