Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenasWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security and commercial applications We are looking for a Program Manager to join our HPL Business Unit, which is part of the ISTAR & EW Division The job is located in Rehovot The HPL Business Unit is a world leader in in developing and producing state-of-the art High Power Laser systemsOur portfolio includes wide-range of High Power Laser system solutions for land and airborne applicationsThe Program Manager will join our successful team, leading the large scale programs in the core of our business Responsibilities End to end management of multi-million $ projects, from contract signing, through development and production, till delivery and installation of the system at the customer's siteBuild and control the program work plan, resources, budget and risk managementAct as the focal point to the customer, including on-going communications, meetings, updates, and joint teamworkMulti-interface matrix management in the fields of development, production, procurement and moreLeading effectively the development and operation teams based on strong technical background with multi-disciplinary and complex systemsIdentifying and initiating business opportunities and developing relationships with the customers
 Requirements Bachelor's degree in management/engineering/Exact Sciences from a Relevant FieldExperience in managing and leading complex projects/processesMultitasking capabilitiesExperience in writing technical/contractual documents and preparing and delivering presentationsComprehensive understanding of financial, budgeting, and cost control aspect and budget management principlesExperience in leading large-scale programs in the defense field - an advantageExperience in multi-interface matrix management – an advantageAbility to learn independently and think "outside the box" - an advantageAbility to lead business development and marketing processes with overseas customers – an advantageFluent EnglishWillingness to travel abroad
