Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at the Rehovot site.
This role involves engaging in intricate and demanding.
 
Job Description:
 Lead mechanical design and integration for complex multidisciplinary systems, focusing on opto-mechanical components.
Manage the mechanical design process from the concept phase through system integration and production support.
Ensure adherence to project requirements, including timelines and high-quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, optics, and systems engineering, to achieve project goals.
 
 
Job Requirements:
 BSc in Mechanical Engineering (MSc is an advantage)
 Minimum of 8 years in mechanics / opto-mechanics design and analysis , with substantial experience leading mechanical tasks in multidisciplinary projects.

Proven ability to manage mechanical activities, including directing mechanical designers and coordinating with other project partners.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and sheet metal bending.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in opto-mechanical and accurate motion systems design.
Ability to design mechanical electronic boards.
Background in military or aerospace system design.
Expertise in mechanical mechanisms.
Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
