Legal counsel

We are looking for a talented, proactive and highly motivated legal counsel to join our legal team at Elbit Systems Corporate Headquarters in Haifa
Elbit Systems is an international high technology company, primarily engaged in the defense and homeland security arenas. Elbit’s stocks are publicly traded both in the NASDAQ and the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange
The successful candidate will be part of the Corporate Legal Division, handling a variety of legal issues across the organization, closely collaborating with management and business leadersKey Responsibilities
Providing legal advice and legal support to various corporate departments, such as HR, procurement, finance, export control, operations, IT etc
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements
Supporting the company's compliance with Israeli and U.S. securities laws and corporate governance, implementing new regulations, compliance programs, procedures and ESG aspects
Conducting legal work in relation to the company’s subsidiaries in Israel and worldwideQualifications and Skills
LLB from a leading academic institution
At least 5-7 years of experience (post-internship) as a lawyer in a commercial department of a leading law firm or in-house legal counsel in a global company and willingness to learn new fields
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal (a significant portion of the work is conducted in English)
Proactiveness, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively
Attention to details and thoroughness
