We’re looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join a leading defense organization specializing in researchand development of advanced sensing technologies, for a full‑time position
 
About the role
 
You will guide the research process from fundamental studies through to final product development, focusing on the designimplementation, and validation of advanced algorithms. This role combines theoretical research with practical implementation offering a unique opportunity to make an impact across multidisciplinary sensing technologies 
 
Your responsibilities
Develop advanced algorithms and support the research process from concept to implementationDesign, execute, and analyze laboratory and field experimentsPerform data analysis and processing, including image and signal processing research tasksWork closely with data scientists, hardware, and system engineering teams to translate physical phenomena into computational models
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or GeophysicsMaster’s or higher degree – AdvantageAt least 3 years of experience in Signal Processing with solid understanding of sampling theoryAt least 3 years of experience with audio or sensor signal analysis including STFT, spectrograms, and filteringAbility to extract meaningful features from raw signals and integrate them into machine learning pipelinesHands‑on experience with Deep Learning including training and evaluating DL models such as CNNs and TransformersExperience with scientific and ML ecosystem tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and PyTorchFamiliarity with self‑supervised learning methods – AdvantageExperience in Python, including large‑scale data loading, transformation, and dataset preparation – Advantage
