Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenasWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications   We are looking for a Computer Vision & Machine Learning Algorithm Developer Student to join our Image Processing Group, which is part of the ISTAR & EW Division   The job is in Rehovot   The Image Processing Group is responsible for developing cutting-edge algorithms in the fields of computer vision and artificial intelligence, supporting advanced airborne, ground, and space-based intelligence and surveillance systems The Algorithm Developer Student will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with system engineering and implementation teams to deliver innovative solutions Responsibilities Development of advanced algorithms for image understanding and analysis (Computer Vision & AI)Participation in the design and implementation of operational surveillance and intelligence systemsCollaboration with system engineering and software development teamsLeading algorithmic research and development tasks independentlyContributing to system-level understanding and integration Requirements M.Sc. or Ph.D. Candidate in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering from a recognized university – mustResearch in the field of image processing, computer vision, or machine learning – advantageProgramming skills in C++ and/or Python – mustExperience in deep learning – advantageAbility to work in a team and lead tasks independentlyStrong problem-solving skills and system-level thinkingHigh motivation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyGood interpersonal skillsKnowledge in GPU programming – advantage
