Laser Physicist

Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenas We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security and commercial applications   We are looking for a Laser Physicist to join our multidisciplinary R&D team at our Rehovot site   The position involves working on cutting-edge fiber laser technologies and integrating them into advanced multi-disciplinary systems   Responsibilities Research, design, and development of fiber laser systemsLeading laser system development from scientific concept through production and integrationDesigning and building optical setups for physics experimentsPerforming physical simulations and analysesConducting both experimental and theoretical work in the field of electro-optics Requirements   M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Electro-Optics – mustBroad knowledge in electro-optics – mustProven ability to lead complex experiments and analyze results – mustCreative thinking and ability to work independently – mustExperience in laser technologies – advantageBackground in building optical systems – advantage
