Elbit Systems is a global high-technology company engaged in a wide range of programs worldwide, primarily in the defense and homeland security sectorsWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land, and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications   We are seeking an experienced and visionary Development Manager to lead the DIRCM System Development Teams within the ISTAR & EW Division in RehovotThis role involves managing the development of advanced Directed Infrared Countermeasure (DIRCM) systems, as part of the innovative DIRCM Pro product family, integrating multidisciplinary technologies across hardware and software domains   Responsibilities   Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary development teams, including mechanical, optical, software, and system engineersPlan, manage, and synchronize system development activities across all involved stakeholdersMake critical decisions throughout the development lifecycle, balancing technical trade-offs and prioritiesEnsure compliance with project management requirements including schedule, scope, quality, budget, and customer satisfactionOversee all technical aspects of the system, including formal development milestones such as design reviews, integration, testing, trials, and platform integrationPrioritize engineering activities and guide the selection between alternative solutionsAllocate development resources in coordination with the division head and business unit leaderEnsure successful completion of system integration, development, documentation, and release commitments Requirements   B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, or PhysicsMinimum 5 years of proven experience leading multidisciplinary system development projectsExperience in work plan creation and budget managementExperience in developing military-grade electro-optical systems – advantageFamiliarity with airborne platform integration – advantageStrong system-level understanding and engineering insightDemonstrated leadership and ability to motivate and guide teamsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHigh level of proficiency in English (spoken and written)Quick learner with strong analytical and prioritization skillsHighly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive
