Elbit Systems is an international high-technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenasWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications   We are looking for an Aerial Photography Development Manager to join the Airborne Imaging team in the ISTAR & EW Division in Rehovot The team focuses on the development of advanced airborne electro-optical systems for fighter aircraft applications, combining multidisciplinary expertise and cutting-edge hardware and software technologies   Responsibilities   Lead the development and production of an airborne photography system comprised of a multi-spectral electro-optical pod and a ground-based planning and analysis stationServe as the technical authority for the system, managing detailed design, integration, and validation of technical requirementsMake critical development decisions based on trade-off analysis across multiple engineering domainsOversee hardware and software integration processes, system delivery, and customer supportProvide technical support to existing aerial imaging customers across diverse projects and platformsCoordinate development efforts with multidisciplinary teams in a matrix environment   Requirements   Bachelor’s degree in engineering – mandatoryAt least 5 years of proven experience in leading multidisciplinary system development programs in the electro-optical domainExperience in creating work plans and managing project budgetsExperience in developing military-grade electro-optical systemsBackground as a system engineer in hardware/software intensive projectsStrong system-level thinking and technical leadershipAbility to manage and lead development processes in a matrix organizationFast learner with analytical capabilities for complex subjectsHigh motivation, thoroughness, and ownership mentalityExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and lead multidisciplinary teamsWillingness to travel abroadHigh proficiency in English
