System Engineer for Naval Systems

Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenasWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land, and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications   We are looking for a System Engineer to join the Naval Systems Division   The team leads the development and integration of cutting-edge systems for upgrading naval platforms, including unmanned vessels and advanced marine sensors   The job is located in Haifa Responsibilities Lead the development and validation of complex systems (System of Systems) involving software and hardware, from solution definition to detailed design, integration, testing, and deliveryDefine requirements for various system components and write specifications and design documentsGuide and oversee engineering teams (software, communication, electronics, etc.)Lead complex integrations involving subsystems and payloads, while managing subcontractors Requirements Relevant engineering degree (mandatory)Experience in developing or system engineering for multidisciplinary systems involving software and integration (mandatory)Background in C4I software/system development (advantage)Experience in marine systems development (advantage)Familiarity with distributed system development (microservices, Docker, Kubernetes)Knowledge of Linux operating systems (advantage)Relevant naval military background (advantage)Strong learning abilities and analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal and team collaboration skillsWillingness to travel extensively abroad (mandatory)
