Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenasWe develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security and commercial applications We are looking for a Thermal Analysis Engineer to join the ISTAR & EW Division, located in Rehovot, IsraelOur team specializes in the development of advanced electro-optical systems, requiring precise thermal contro and analysis to ensure optimal performance in challenging operational environments Responsibilities Perform thermal analyses using Finite Element (F.E.) software for opto-mechanical systemsDesign thermal management and cooling systemsDevelop and implement temperature stabilization solutionsConduct thermal experiments and validate simulation results Requirements B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics, or ThermodynamicsM.Sc. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with specialization in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, or Fluid Flow – preferred3–4 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in defense companiesStrong analytical skills and the ability to distinguish between critical and non-critical issuesHigh efficiency, persistence, and dedicationExcellent multitasking and teamwork capabilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in F.E. software tools is an advantage
