Computer Vision & Machine Learning Algorithm developer

Elbit Systems is an international high-technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenas We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land, and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications   We are looking for an Algorithm Developer – AI & Vision to join the ISTAR & EW Division The Algorithmic Group is responsible for developing advanced algorithms for intelligence and surveillance systems, focusing on video and imagery analysis   Responsibilities   Solve complex algorithmic challenges in video and imagery analysis for military intelligence systems Develop cutting-edge AI-based solutions, with an emphasis on Multi-Modal AI (Vision + LLM) Collaborate closely with system engineering and software teams   Requirements   M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field At least 7 years of proven experience in AI-based computer vision algorithm development Proficiency in Python for software development; knowledge of C/C++ is an advantage Experience with Multi-Modal AI and LLM – an advantage Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead projects independently Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel System-level understanding Knowledge of GPU programming – an advantage
