Space Camera Development Manager

Elbit Systems is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of programs throughout the world, primarily in the defense and homeland security arenas We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security, and commercial applications   We are looking for a Space Camera Development Manager to join the Space Technologies team in the ISTAR & EW Division The team focuses on the development of state-of-the-art electro-optical systems for advanced space applications, combining multidisciplinary expertise and cutting-edge technology   Responsibilities   Serve as the technical authority for the project, leading planning, synchronization, and coordination of development across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders Approve and make critical development decisions throughout the project lifecycle Ensure adherence to project management requirements, including schedules, scope, quality, budget, and client satisfaction Ensure compliance with technical system requirements and lead formal technical reviews, integration processes, testing, and trials Leverage deep engineering knowledge and understanding of multiple system disciplines to prioritize and manage all engineering activities within the project Coordinate and allocate appropriate development resources Oversee the completion of development commitments and the successful release of the system   Requirements   Bachelor’s degree in engineering – mandatory Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering – an advantage At least 5 years of proven experience in leading multidisciplinary system development programs Experience in creating work plans and managing budgets Experience in developing military electro-optical systems – an advantage
