Control and Navigation Engineer

We develop and supply a broad portfolio of airborne, land and naval systems and products for defense, homeland security and commercial applications   We are looking for a Control and Navigation Engineer to join ISTAR & EW Division in Rehovot   Responsibilities Closed Loop control systems - Implementation of control filter designs Complex 6 DOF simulations Modeling physical systems with multiple degrees of freedom Characterization and definition of sensors and Drive systems Transformations of coordinate systems, Parameterization of angular state Estimation, Signal Processing and analysis of  Stochastic Processes Modeling and analysis of sensor noise Inertial Navigation   Requirements Bsc. in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Aeronautics Master's/PhD is an advantage Control Theory specialty and/or relevant courses 3 years of experience in control and electromechanical drive systems  Outstanding graduates are welcome to submit CVs Familiarity with control theory and dynamic systems Proficiency in Simulink / MATLAB - mandatory Familiarity with Embedded Coder and Real Time Workshop tools - an advantage High mathematical abilities  Experience in measurement and test analysis Familiarity with stochastic processes, signal processing, and estimation methods Practical experience with microcontrollers, motors, and sensors Practical experience with complex electromechanical systems Familiarity with inertial navigation systems, understanding of basic navigation concepts
