HRIS Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HRIS Manager to lead our HRIS team in supporting Zim’s digital HR transformation journey. This role is critical in implementing our Human Capital Management (HCM) system and driving the digitization of HR processes. The ideal candidate will combine strong IT systems expertise with a passion for enhancing employee experience through technology.

Major areas of responsibility:

HRIS Implementation & Optimization

Lead the implementation and integration and maintenance of the HCM system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Partner with HR and IT teams to streamline and digitize HR processes, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Systems Management & Support

Oversee the ongoing maintenance, updates, and upgrades of HR systems.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide advanced technical support and training to end-users.
Identify opportunities for process improvement through data insights and system capabilities.

Leadership & Team Management

Manage and mentor a team of 4 HRIS specialists, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Set clear goals, provide guidance, and monitor team performance to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

Academic education in a relevant field- Industrial Engineering, Information systems or computer science.
Strong understanding of system integration, data management, automation, and analytics.
Excellent project management skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business needs.
Experience in HR systems implementation is an advantage (e.g., Oracle HCM SuccessFactors, Workday).
