Repair Lab Manager

DRS RADA is a global pioneer of radar systems for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance .We are looking for a Repair Lab ManagerProven ability to lead multidisciplinary repair activities for complex electronic assemblies and systems, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, traceability, and turnaround time in regulated and mission-critical settings.Skilled in managing teams of repair engineers, assemblers, and soldering technicians, while driving troubleshooting, failure analysis, component- and board-level repair, and final verification processes. Brings solid hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and a deep understanding of repair workflows for defense-oriented electronic products.Key ResponsibilitiesManage repair lab operations for military electronic products, including both RMA returns and serial production repairsLead and supervise teams of repair engineers, assemblers, and soldering techniciansOversee troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, rework, and verification activities for electronic boards, modules, and systemsEnsure efficient handling of returned units, production failures, and ongoing repair prioritiesCoordinate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and related functionsMonitor repair performance, turnaround time, yield, and quality metricsSupport root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actionsEnsure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, workmanship requirements, and traceability needsDrive continuous improvement in repair processes, workflow, and lab efficiencyMaintain a safe, organized, and technically capable repair environmentProfessional StrengthsExtensive experience with military / defense electronic productsStrong background in managing RMA repair activities and production repair operationsProven leadership of technical teams including repair engineers, assembly personnel, and soldering staffHands-on familiarity with electronic diagnostic and test equipmentStrong understanding of troubleshooting, failure analysis, rework, and verification processesAbility to operate effectively in high-reliability, quality-driven environmentsRequirements:Technical ExpertiseRepair and rework of electronic assemblies, boards, and systemsFault isolation and failure analysisUse of electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, and other diagnostic toolsInterpretation of technical documentation, drawings, procedures, and test instructionsQuality control, traceability, and process discipline in repair environments
