About the Role

We’re looking for a talented engineer to bridge the gap between research and development, playing a key role in our cutting-edge Machine Learning and Data Science teams. In this role you will be a single developer in a research team, while strongly collaborating with other engineers in the company.

What will you do?

Lead the design and development of tools to improve researchers’ workflows, including ETLs and frameworks for evaluation, plotting and model explainability
Conduct design and code reviews for research-based solutions, playing a key role in bringing research ideas to production
Refactor and generalize researcher notebooks into reusable, scalable and optimized infrastructure designed to serve a broader audience effectively
Manage and enhance model training pipelines and experiment tracking systems for state-of-the-art proprietary algorithms

Requirements

B.Sc. in computer science / mathematics / electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of backend or data engineering experience
2+ years of hands-on programming experience in Python
Highly independent, with a strong ability to define and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of understanding peer needs and requirements
Proven ability to work in teams
Bonus: familiarity of data science frameworks such as numpy and scikit-learn
