You'll own our testing infrastructure and help us move fast without breaking things. This is a hands-on role where you'll design, build, and maintain automated testing across our entire stack.What You'll DoTest Automation (60%)Build and maintain Playwright test suites for our MCP GatewayWrite integration tests for OAuth flows, policy enforcement, and API proxyingCreate automated E2E tests for our React-based admin portal and marketplaceDevelop contract tests for our MCP protocol implementationsBuild performance/load testing infrastructure for concurrent AI agent connectionsCI/CD & Infrastructure (25%)Extend and maintain our GitHub Actions workflows for faster, more reliable deploymentsSet up test environments that mirror production (AWS, MongoDB, MySQL)Build automated smoke tests for multi-region deployments (US, EU, AU, CA, UK)Create alerting and monitoring for test failures and regressionsQuality Advocacy (15%)Partner with developers to write testable code from the startReview PRs with a testing mindset — catch what automated tests might missDocument testing patterns and best practices for the teamIdentify gaps in test coverage and prioritize what to automate nextRequirementsMust Have2-4 years of experience in QA automation, test engineering, or similar rolesStrong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript — our entire stack is TSExperience with Playwright or similar E2E testing frameworksFamiliarity with REST API testing (Postman, supertest, or similar)Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelinesComfortable with Git and collaborative development workflowsStrong debugging skills — you can trace a flaky test to its root causeNice to HaveFamiliarity with OAuth/OIDC flows — we do a lot of authentication testingExperience testing multi-tenant SaaS applicationsKnowledge of Docker and containerized testing environmentsExposure to AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch)Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or SnowflakeFamiliarity with load testing tools (k6, Artillery, Locust)Experience with mobile testing (iOS / Android)Understanding of AI/LLM applications — not required, but you'll pick it up fast
