Partner with the best

We need a technically strong Product Solutions Engineer to bridge Product Management and Field Sales Engineering. You will ensure our field teams can effectively communicate the value of Akamai microsegmentation and drive successful sales.

As a Product Solutions Engineer, you will:

Providing continuous, clear updates to the technical pre-sales community on product roadmap, lifecycle, and key technical information.
Collaborating with Product Management and Product Marketing to create and deliver impactful sales training and technical content highlighting Akamai
Serving as the primary technical contact for Sales Engineers, providing expert guidance on complex customer/prospects inquiries and RFI/RFP.
Analyzing feature requests, propose workarounds, and communicate field feedback to Product Management
Guiding field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals, ensuring product alignment.
Developing compelling product demos with TME and SE collaboration to showcase Akamai ESG value, features, and use cases.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 5+ years in a highly technical pre-sales,
Have a deep knowledge of networking, security, and cloud TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, routing, switching, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, AWS, Azure, GCP.
Have experience with microservices, automation, and security best practices Kubernetes, servers, VMs, scripting (Python), technical content creation, firewalls, cybersecurity (CISSP is a plus).
Own concise Communication skills: Expertly translate complex tech for diverse audiences (technical, sales, executives). Excellent presentation, writing, and listening skills.
Have analytical Problem-Solving skills: own the ability to analyze technical challenges and create effective solutions.
Have good team collaboration skills: Proven team player, able to work effectively across departments.
Be a Customer Focus: Dedicated to understanding and meeting the needs of sales teams and customers.
Demonstrate adaptability and proactivity: Thrives in ever-changing environments, proactive and responsive to change.
