Lab Technician and Equipment Specialist

Biolojic Design, Ltd. is a leading-edge company specializing in the design of multi-specific human antibodies, using AI and machine learning techniques, to cure patients.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lab Technician and Equipment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform essential laboratory tasks, operate FACS and Flow Cytometry devices professionally, Support lab personnel with equipment troubleshooting, perform training sessions and provide scientific support for our research processes.

Responsibilities:

Operating and maintaining FACS, Flow Cytometers and other analytical equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration.
Train and mentor R&D teams and provide scientific support to improve our research processes.
Optimizing existing work protocols to enhance robustness and reduce operational costs.
Routine maintenance for a wide range of laboratory equipment, coordinate maintenance services and repairs, and perform troubleshooting when needed.
Routine maintenance of Tissue Culture lab, including performing Mycoplasma testing.
Daily lab operations, including sterilizing lab equipment and general lab cleanliness.
Comply with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience working in a lab environment, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, Familiar with different laboratory techniques and equipment.
Significant experience in operating and maintaining FACS and Flow cytometry instruments - MUST.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
