Our team is based at Discount Bank’s headquarters in Rishon LeZion, operating at the intersection of Israel’s financial system and the local tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of early stage startups, providing end-to-end banking services and acting as the primary point of contact for founders, CEOs, CFOs, and key decision-makers.
• Demonstrate patience, persistence, and ownership in managing long and complex client journeys - from initial engagement and onboarding through account opening, compliance approvals, and ongoing relationship management.
• Serve as a key liaison between clients and internal bank stakeholders, translating banking policies, requirements, and processes into clear language for clients, while effectively representing client needs and business context to branches, compliance, and internal units.
• Strong understanding of the Israeli tech ecosystem and market trends, with a solid grasp of the capital structures of venture-backed technology companies.
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ banking and credit needs and proactively address them at the appropriate stages of the company’s growth journey.
• Solid banking background with hands-on understanding of KYC and compliance requirements, internal bank policies, ongoing account monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Ability to work with banking reports and exceptions, apply internal credit policies, in line with bank guidelines
Requirements:
• 2–5 years of banking experience as corporate relationship manager.
• Experience in a tech banking division is an advantage.
• Proven ability to own processes end-to-end and close loops, ensuring execution, follow-through, and completion across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated proactivity, persistence, and consistency in managing complex, long-cycle sales and onboarding processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to balance client-facing engagement and internal stakeholder management.
• High-level English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong understanding of bank policies, controls, and compliance requirements, with the ability to operate effectively within a regulated banking environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
