Land Transportation coordinator

Land Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the subject of land transportation in Israel, working with Company’s transportation suppliers.

The main tasks for this role are:

Ordering and coordinating transportation

· Ordering empty containers transportations from the various suppliers.

· Ordering full containers transportations from the various suppliers.

Maintenance of pricelists in the system

· Updating the suppliers’ land transportation prices.

· Authorizing payment of irregular invoices.

Updating various reports

· Monitoring the status of the daily shipments of each supplier

·Control over the Maintenance of pricelists in the system and the quality of their work

·Analysis and control over the reports and the data/ statistics

Ongoing operations work

· Solving problems during the course of the workday.

· Giving special price quotes

· Booking cancelation debit

· Meeting with the supplier on monthly basis

In addition, the KPI for this role is comparing actual LT expenses to the potential costs, if the least expensive vendor had been chosen.

Requirements:

o Academic Degree - a must

o Good knowledge of the shipping industry-an advantage

o Mastery of the English language (Speaking, reading and writing)

o Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, Excel (macro level) and PowerPoint in particular
