Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and deploy the organization's data center infrastructure.
Utilize scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to deploy, scale, configure, and update Data Center equipment, encompassing servers, storage, switches, and firewalls.
Monitor network and system performance, detect bottlenecks or connectivity issues, and implement necessary solutions.
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to guarantee network security, uphold data integrity, and adhere to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Over 3 years of hands-on experience as a Network/DevOps/Data Center/System Engineer.
More than 3 years of Linux system administration expertise.
2 years of practical involvement in Virtualization/Private Cloud environments, encompassing ESXI, Proxmox, Openstack, or Hyper-V.
Extensive background in large-scale network/system engineering environments, including ISPs and Cloud Providers.
Demonstrated proficiency with networking technologies and protocols such as TCP/IP, LAN, NAT, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
In-depth expertise in Routing protocols including peering and troubleshooting.
Extensive familiarity with Automation, Configuration Management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Napalm, Paramiko, Netmiko, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with observability and monitoring systems like SNMP, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
Familiarity with storage networking protocols such as iSCSI, Fibre Channel, or Network-Attached Storage (NAS).
Proficient in high availability concepts and implementation, including redundancy, failover, and load balancing technologies.
Familiarity with virtualized and containerized environments, including ECS/Kubernetes.
Additional advantage: Experience in firewall administration, covering configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of appliances like Checkpoint/Pfsense.
