abra R&D is seeking a Mainframe System Team Leader
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mainframe System professional to lead the infrastructure team and manage critical z/OS environments in a high-availability production setting.
Full-time + hybrid position based in Central Israel (Lod)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a mainframe infrastructure team and its tasks
Install, upgrade, and maintain z/OS systems and related components
Ensure system availability and handle infrastructure incidents
Collaborate with development, operations, and network teams
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in team management – Must
4+ years of hands-on experience with z/OS, TSO, SDSF, and JCL – Must
Familiarity with infrastructure scripting using REXX – Advantage
Experience with enterprise hardware (e.g., storage arrays, tape libraries, switches) – Advantage
High self-learning ability and excellent interpersonal skills
