Responsibilities :

Create and share product roadmap.

Bring in clarity and algin the vision with business objective.

Consider the needs and objective of the stakeholder.

Tight governance on budget, timeline to ensure the priorities are managed.

Collaborate with scrum team and algin as the backlog changes based on priorities.

Own the backlog and communicate with all stockholders.

Drive scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews and sprint retrospectives.

Ensure no dependency for the scrum team to deliver their sprint commitment.

Work with the scrum team to bring refinement of the product features.

Communicate and get buy-in from stakeholders on critical decision.

Ensure all developers have clarity on their sprint deliveries.

Adapt and revisit product backlog based on feedback.

Monitor and control product progress through each stage of the sprint iterations.

Requirements and skills :

Communication – define and demonstrate the right communication matrix is followed to ensure openness across the board.

Analytical – Provide right direction for showstopper situations and challenges team faces through your analytical capabilities.

Project management – Govern and manage overall delivery by applying the right project management skills. And ensure the product is delivered as per planned timeline and budget.

Leadership and mentoring – Provide the team with required support and mentor the team to evolve into a high performing team.

Decision making – Make right decision as the owner of the products developed, enabling the leadership team to provide insight data.

Collaboration – Network with different teams from different locations in the organization, get the thing moving by proactive actions required.

Presenting point of view – Put across the concept, budget, progress report, risk, team performance to the leadership on monthly steering committee meetings.

Management of stakeholder – Provide requirement information to the stakeholders by understanding their needs. Ensure they have visibility of what is going on the ground.

Soft skills – Highly approachable and a problem solver. Ready to support when it is required. Bring in the energy required for the team to perform their best.

Technical skills – Demonstrate technical capability in each aspect of product development as the team will be dependent on technical input and direction.
