SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Professional Services Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Professional Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers, working closely with them to deploy VAST Data cluster onsite.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure and test data storage solutions in customer environments, ensuring they are fully operational and meet performance standards.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance to clients, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and optimization.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide input on product development and improvement.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices related to data storage.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in a similar technical role, with expertise in data storage technologies, such as SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing data storage solutions in complex environments.
Strong knowledge of data protection, disaster recovery planning, and backup technologies.
Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies, including VMware and Docker.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Travel 75% of your time
