GE Healthcare Medical Imaging based at MATAM Haifa is looking for a physicist to join our engineering team.
The Physicist position works in close collaboration with the GE Healthcare Engineering team, research sites, and clinical partners to develop new product applications, support ongoing Engineering activities and our global install base systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to):

Combining knowledge of physics to deliver new products based on gamma detection technology
Implement system knowledge and multidisciplinary knowledge to optimize detection performance.
Use broad expertise in physics to help resolve urgent issues and support product & Marketing with current and future Nuclear Medicine products
Evaluating and extending new concepts as well as providing innovation which can be developed into new product advantages.

Qualifications/Requirements:

PhD in Physics
Strong physicist from familiar university
Excellent Hands on capabilities
Relevant work experience
Strong communication capabilities
Experimental Physicist
Good Matlab coding knowledge

Experience with research collaborations

Experience in radiation detector field
