Software Development Team Leader - Agentic AI Platform

We’re seeking a forward-thinking Team Leader to lead a growing team building our next-generation Agentic AI Platform. This platform empowers cross-functional teams across the company to design and deploy AI-agent-based products, fueled by cutting-edge advancements in generative AI, cloud-native architectures, and rapid innovation cycles.

In this role you’ll oversee a multidisciplinary team, that includes full-stack developers, front-end/back-end specialists, DevOps, QA automation, and data scientists. Your mission: scale this team, build a high-performing culture, and own the technical and strategic roadmap for a platform that’s core to our AI-first product strategy.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and mentor a diverse team developing a scalable, cloud-based (AWS) Agentic AI platform.

Define the technical direction, architecture, and operational standards for the platform.

Continuously integrate cutting-edge AI developments into the platform’s capabilities.

Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to support their AI-agent use cases.

Foster agile processes, engineering best practices, and a high-ownership culture.

Scale the team by hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future team leaders as the group expands.

Translate business needs into technical solutions with clarity, speed, and quality.

Create and own metrics that track performance, adoption, and impact.

Requirements:

You’ll do it using:

7+ years of experience in software R&D, including 3+ years in a team leadership role.

Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including:

Working with LLMs, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, embedding models, MCP (Multi-Context Prompting), and A2A (Agent-to-Agent) communication frameworks.

Designing and building AI agents, tool use frameworks, and context orchestration mechanisms.

Integrating AI into production systems with performance, cost, and safety considerations.

Proven ability to develop using AI, including:

Leveraging AI for software development acceleration (AI coding agents).

Understanding of prompt chaining, memory management, and agentic decision-making flows.

Familiarity with AI development ecosystems (e.g., AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, vector DBs, etc.).

Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced, product-centric environment.

Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and services on AWS.

Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices and agile methodologies.

Passion for staying ahead of the curve in AI: curious, experimental, and fast-learning.

Excellent communication and leadership skills; you inspire and organize teams effectively.

Advantage:

Prior experience in AI/ML infra, MLOps, or agent orchestration.

Background in developer experience (DevEx) or internal platform strategy.

Exposure to data engineering, security, or AI ethics considerations in product
