Hand in Hand is Seeking: Director of Resource Mobilization & Fundraising

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Resource Mobilization & Fundraising to lead our development department. As a member of the senior executive team, you will: design and execute a comprehensive global and domestic resource strategy to sustain our current network of six campuses; fuel our next phase of national expansion by initiating, managing and strengthening institutional relationships with corporate partners, private foundations, and governmental agencies and municipalities; and manage a professional team while working in close alignment with the American Friends of Hand in Hand.

 Diversify revenue streams by expanding individual giving, major gifts, family foundations, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, and multi-lateral/governmental and municipal funding.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
 Develop and execute, in coordination with the American Friends of Hand in Hand, a multi-year resource mobilization
2. International & Domestic Donor Relations
 Serve as an ambassador for Hand in Hand, cultivating deep relationships with existing and future high-net-worth (HNW) donors and institutional grant-makers.
 Act as the organizational liaison to the American Friends of Hand in Hand and any future affiliate entities, ensuring strategic alignment and collaborative operations and planning.
 Supervise the creation of high-quality grant proposals, financial reports, and donor impact communications.
3. Team Leadership & Department Management
 Lead, mentor, and build the capacity of the domestic fundraising.
 Oversee the development budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources, precise forecasting, and meticulous data management via CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
 Work collaboratively with the Communications department to design digital and social media assets, campaigns, and impactful storytelling materials.

Qualifications & Requirements
 Experience: 3–5 years of senior-level development/fundraising experience within the non-profit or social impact sector, with a proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts.
 Sector Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the philanthropic landscape in North America, Europe, and Israel. Experience navigating Israeli municipal or governmental grant processes is a major advantage.
 Mission Alignment: A passionate commitment to shared society, integrated education, and Arab-Jewish partnership in Israel.
 Languages: Native-level fluency in English and Hebrew (written and spoken) is strictly required.
 Leadership Style: Outstanding interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. A collaborative leader capable of inspiring internal teams and building trust with diverse external stakeholders.
 Technology Savvy: Experienced and hands-on in working with supportive IT tools, and experienced in using digital and social media to support activities.
 Travel: Ability to travel internationally 3-4 times a year, and domestically as required for donor cultivation.
 A hybrid work model offering a balance of remote work and collaborative in-office.
