Junior Mechanical design Engineer

Description:

XTEND is seeking a motivated and versatile Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to R&D activities and supporting the evolution of our cutting‑edge systems—from early concept stages through mass production.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assemblies and mechanical components, including drones, payloads, and ground equipment.
• Collaborate daily with the board design team and system engineers to support system-level integration.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation and mechanical drawings to support production and testing processes

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Full proficiency in SolidWorks, including experience with large assemblies.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and technical drawings.
• Experience working with multi‑disciplinary systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of various manufacturing technologies, including:

1.   3D printing
2.   CNC Machining
3.   Injection molding

• Hands-on approach, solution-oriented, self-motivated, and strong teamwork qualities
