Position Overview

We’re looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to play a key role in the next phase of our product.

You’ll lead the backend architecture, design and build scalable, event-driven systems, and set engineering standards - while staying close to the code.

Beyond technical ownership, you’ll have real influence on how the team works: mentoring developers, driving best practices, and helping shape both the product and the engineering culture in a fast growing organization.

The Tech Lead will Report directly to our VP R&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement, identifying gaps in tooling, infrastructure, practices, and architecture, lead the initiatives to resolve them.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into sound technical solutions and architectural plans.
• Establish and maintain robust engineering standards, including code quality, testing, documentation, and operational best practices.
• Champion a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation, setting an example for technical rigor, accountability, and proactive problem solving.
• Investigate and evaluate emerging technologies, bringing forward recommendations that enhance product capabilities, scalability, or team efficiency.
• Ensure architectural decisions support long-term growth, including modularity, maintainability, observability, and cost-efficiency.

• Proven experience as a Hands-On - Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or Architect, demonstrating the ability to lead technical direction and influence cross-team decisions.
• Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and software architecture, including trade-offs in scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Strong coding ability preferably in typescript coupled with the desire to write code and remain hands-on
• Track record of leading major technical initiatives from conception to delivery, including working with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience shaping engineering standards and best practices, such as code quality, testing strategy, observability, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Background in distributed systems or event-driven architecture.
• Experience with LLMs and modern AI tools.
• Experience with Networking, Proxies, Scrapping, Reverse Engineering
• Dev Experience with social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit)
