About the Organization
MEET is a 20‑year-old bi‑national educational organization that empowers outstanding Israeli and Palestinian youth from across Israel and the West Bank. In partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), MEET equips participants with leadership, technology, and entrepreneurship tools, enabling them to create positive social and political impact in the region.
MEET operates as a bi‑national educational organization with an annual donation-based budget of approximately $3M. The organization serves 120 high school students each year and maintains a growing alumni network of more than 800 graduates. Its culture is young, mission‑driven, energetic, informal, non‑hierarchical, and rooted in strong values.
Position: CEO of MEET
The CEO will be responsible for leading the organization’s strategic direction, team, program delivery, public presence, and fundraising efforts.
Team Structure
Manage 15 employees, including: VP/Deputy Director, High School Program Manager, Alumni Program Manager, Resource Development (3–4 staff).
Work closely with the Board of Directors.
Based in MEET’s Jerusalem office.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Set realistic expectations and introduce a clear and sustainable strategic direction that supports organizational growth while maintaining stability.
Strengthen and modernize the organization to stay relevant.
Ensure MEET continues to be grounded, authentic, and connected to the field.
Lead long-term organizational planning with clarity, structure, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Organizational Management
Oversee daily operations and ensure program excellence.
Maintain high student retention and program quality.
Improve internal systems: data management, office operations, staff development, and communications.
Support employees in the right way and foster a positive, safe working environment.
Build strong staff cohesion and reduce turnover through supportive leadership.
Fundraising & External Relations
Lead global fundraising (Israel, Europe, U.S.)—strategic, structured, and proactive.
Represent the organization publicly across media, events, and donor-facing opportunities.
Build strong relationships with existing and new donors.
Serve as the face of MEET with charisma, inspiration, and authenticity.
Board Relations
Work effectively with the Board, providing transparency, strategic insight, and clarity.
Engage Board members in MEET’s strategic goals.
Success Indicators
Clear strategic roadmap and strong implementation.
Stabilized organization with improved systems, structure, and staff satisfaction.
Increased visibility, strengthened reputation, and enhanced media presence.
Effective fundraising and expanded donor base.
Trust built across staff, stakeholders, alumni, and partners.
