- AJEEC is Seeking for a Director of the Resource Development Department

AJEEC-NISPED is an Arab-Jewish organization founded in 2000 that promotes equality and a shared society in Israel. Its collaborative team operates nationwide and facilitates cross-border programs that develop youth leadership within Arab communities, support the development of the Arab-Bedouin community, and strengthen Arab-Jewish cooperation.

The Director of the Resource Development Department is responsible for managing the organization’s resource development efforts from philanthropic and business entities both in Israel and abroad. This role is part of the organization’s senior management team.

Job Description:

• Identifying and recruiting new donors and potential sources of funding
• Developing and leading a strategy for the organization's resource development
• Leading a capital campaign for the construction of AJEEC House
• Managing funding applications and activity reports in English and Hebrew
• Managing a team of grant writers
• Responsibility for updating and maintaining data in the CRM system
• Leading donor relations efforts, including mailings, social media, and marketing materials
• Leading donor visits in Israel and fundraising trips abroad

Qualifications:
• Minimum five years' proven experience in resource development in civil society organizations
• Relevant Bachelor's degree. Relevant Master's degree - an advantage
• Native-level English proficiency. Arabic - a significant advantage
• Experience in writing funding applications and activity reports in English
• Familiarity with civil society in Israel and issues of equality and socio-economic development
• Experience managing a team - an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to present in front of diverse audiences in English and Hebrew
• Initiative, creativity and originality along with order and organization
• Identification with the organization's values
• Availability at unusual hours for work with overseas partners and travel abroad as needed
