CI and Automation Team Lead – VPU Group

In this position 

We are looking for a passionate and experienced CI and Automation Team Lead to join the VPU group at Hailo. This role is central to building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable fast, reliable, and scalable software integration and testing for our AI processors. You will lead a team focused on continuous integration, automated testing, and release management in a Linux-based embedded development environment.

CI & Automation Ownership 

• Design, implement, and maintain CI pipelines tailored for VPU software and firmware. 
• Develop and maintain automation tools for build validation, regression testing, and system-level verification. 
• Ensure fast and reliable integration of code across Linux-based environments, including user-space applications, kernel modules, and low-level firmware. 

Release Management 

• Own and manage the full release lifecycle for VPU software and firmware. 
• Define release criteria, coordinate readiness across teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality, production-grade builds. 
• Maintain versioning, changelogs, and release documentation. 

Infrastructure & Monitoring 

• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of CI systems. 
• Implement tools to monitor pipeline health, test coverage, and integration stability. 
• Provide visibility to stakeholders through dashboards and reports. 

Team Leadership & Collaboration 

• Lead and mentor a team of CI and automation engineers. 
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. 
• Collaborate with software and system integration to align CI and automation efforts with development goals.
