Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced product manager with a technical background to focus on our SolarWinds' IT service management products. As a product manager you will define the product roadmap and work with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other teams to execute the plan. This role includes gathering requirements, defining roadmaps, creating epics, features, and user stories, and working with the engineering team to ensure that the roadmap plan is successfully delivered. In addition, you will be responsible for evangelizing your products through various GTM activities such as delivering webinars, conducting analyst briefings, and sales enablement training. Your Impact:

Manage the entire lifecycle of products and product enhancements from strategic planning to tactical activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape to drive product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Prioritize requirements based on business priorities, revenue goals, customer feedback, and anticipated market needs. Base decisions on solid data whenever possible. Write detailed product requirements. Focus on "What" and "When". Drill down to "How" where necessary.
Become an expert in the product/s and keep up to date with technological advances. Evangelize products at industry events, seminars, customer briefings and other internal and external engagements.
Routinely communicate, work, and meet with customers, the field teams and subject matter experts. Be an advocate for customers, always keeping their interests in mind.
Lead with egoless confidence and manage ambiguity. Work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering, Design, QA, Support and Documentation.
Ensure plans meet internal/stakeholder expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy.

Your Experience:

5+ years of product management experience with technical SaaS products.
Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes and agile development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with and gather feedback from customers, partners, and press/analysts with accuracy and professionalism.
Ability to think and execute at both strategic and operational levels.
Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of and experience with one or more of: IT service management, IT asset management, network discovery, process automation
Hands on experience with AI/ML – An advantage
