Senior Development Officer

Hand in Hand advances shared society and equality between Jews and Arabs in Israel through a robust network of integrated, bilingual schools and communities. The urgency of our work has only grown in the past two years and we seek an experienced Senior Development Officer to join our fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be strongly aligned with the mission of advancing an equal and shared society. This is a full-time hybrid role with periodic meetings in person in our various offices.
Key Responsibilities
• Donor Portfolio Management: Manage and cultivate a robust portfolio of foundation and individual donors and prospects
• Institutional Donor Prospecting & Research: Lead the institutional donor prospecting process through comprehensive research on potential foundation partners.
• Proposal Writing & Reporting: Prepare compelling, detailed proposals and reports that clearly articulate organizational impact across various program areas
• Financial Coordination: Coordinate with the finance team to develop project budgets, financial reports, and compliance
• Strategic Partnership: Serve as a thought partner to the Development Director on strategic matters related to institutional fundraising, prospect research, and donor stewardship
• Database Management: Maintain thorough tracking in Salesforce of all donor and prospect activities Required Qualifications • English and Hebrew fluency; Arabic is a plus but not necessary
• Bachelor's degree • Minimum 3 years of experience in nonprofit development • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems • Collaborative working style
