Open Position: Deputy CEO
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations of the organization alongside the COO, including program coordination, content development, and expanding activity in Tzfat and beyond.
Drive strategic planning and oversee the development of new projects, partnerships, and donor engagement initiatives.
Oversee recruitment, marketing, and the design of meaningful group and community experiences for participants from Israel and around the world.
Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including funders, partner organizations, and Jewish institutions globally.
Oversee budgeting processes, monitor financial planning, and prepare grant proposals and funding requests.
Represent the organization publicly through writing, speaking, and correspondence, including the creation of high-quality communications and promotional content.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree – Master’s preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in nonprofit management – required.
Experience managing teams and working with senior-level partners.
High-level Hebrew and English (writing, speaking, and presenting).
Experience working with North American Jewish communities – strongly preferred.
Strong writing skills – required.
Ability to work well with numbers and manage budgets.
Willingness to relocate or work from Tzfat (living in the north – advantage).
On-site presence in Tzfat – required.
Will work in coordination with the board and founding director.
This is a full-time position with potential to transition into the role of Executive Director (CEO).
