About the Role:

Nimble's Platform team owns the infrastructure and product surface that the entire R&D org builds on - and that customers interact with every day.

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with exceptional frontend depth, strong backend platform experience, and hands-on AI product skills. On the FE side, you'll own Nimble's frontend platform end-to-end - setting the architecture, standards, tooling, and guardrails that allow every R&D engineer to contribute UI code to production without compromising quality. On the BE side, you'll be a core contributor to the platform infrastructure that powers Nimble at scale - API Gateway, SDK, microservices, and platform-layer features. Two halves, one owner.

What You’ll be Doing:
Own Nimble's frontend architecture and platform - from design system and component library to CI/CD, testing automation, and contribution standards.
Build the tooling, guardrails, and workflows that enable every R&D engineer to ship FE code confidently and safely - regardless of their frontend depth.
Set and enforce frontend standards across the organization - code quality, performance, accessibility, and consistency.
Drive cross-R&D infrastructure: API Gateway, SDK design, versioning, and microservices standardization.
Own platform-layer features: Billing, RBAC, Authentication & Authorization, usage systems, and monitoring.
Contribute to AI-native platform capabilities including agentic features and MCP integrations.
What You Should Have for the Role:
8+ years of backend experience, with meaningful time on infrastructure, microservices, and internal platform development - gained at large-scale web companies or fast-growing, successful startups.
8+ years of frontend experience - deep, production-grade, customer-facing. You are the person others come to when FE gets hard.
Proven experience building frontend platforms or enabling systems - not just shipping features, but building the foundation others build on top of.
Deep command of the modern web stack: TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vercel, Cloudflare, and the patterns around state, data fetching, testing, and automation.
Hands-on experience with FE automation: testing frameworks, CI pipelines, linting, and quality enforcement at scale.
Experience with AI product development - you've shipped AI-integrated features in production.
Strong product sense - you can tell when something is over- or under-built, and you push back on both.
