Senior Backend Developer

Description:

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of platform features in a production environment and services as the product expands into RevOps and operational use cases.

This role is based in Tel aviv. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.

What you’ll do

• Own platform features end-to-end, from definition to production and beyond
• Build and evolve backend services in Node.js in cloud environments
• Work on high-volume, event-driven systems (microservices, Kafka/RabbitMQ)
• Make tradeoffs with Product and stakeholders as requirements evolve
• Introduce new tools and approaches when they add value, including GenAI-assisted development

How we work

Projects often start with open questions rather than fixed specs. You’ll help shape direction, make decisions, and stay close to what you ship once it’s live. You’ll own the technical direction of the services you lead while collaborating with Tech Leads and other teams.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of Node.js production experience
• Experience owning large-scale systems or projects end-to-end
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with event-driven or microservice architectures
• A product mindset and clear communication
