Purpose of the job:Be the technical representative in front of customer, suppliers and external stakeholders from NTP to end of warrantyManage the technical scope of the project and deal with internal and external sub-systems interfacesCoordinate with the project core team and Integrate the ALSTOM solution in the projectControls the technical consistency through a strong engineering process management, quality, cost and delivery (QCD) approachDrive and technically lead design and deployment of Control Centers design, Data Centers in liaison with suppliers.Reports directly to:Communication Project managerNetwork & LinksInternalProject Core TeamPrEM or technical representative for each solution deployedADM Community in charge of the development of Systems / Products specific to the projectInstallation Manager and T&C ManagerMethods & Tools CommunityProject EHS Manager/Coordinator or RC EHS Manager/EngineerExternalSuppliers or sub-contractors for External interfacesCustomer or his technical representativeKey accountabilities:Telecommunications Expert is the overall management, control, administration and supervision of all design-related work, services, tasks, activities and actions required to be performed or implemented by or on behalf of the Project Company under and pursuant to the Agreement and concerning the Telecommunications Systems (inc. in particular. Advertising Display System (ADS), Public Address System (PAS), Digital Mobile Radio System (DMRS), Emergency Agencies Radio System (EARS), Wideband Wireless Radio System (WWRS), Communication Backbone Network (CBN), Geographical Information System (GIS), Data Center, Control Center, Telephony and Help Point System (TAHPS), Unified Recording System (URS), Customer Service Management Oriented Applications (CSMOA).Be the technical representative in front of customer, suppliers, and external stakeholders from NTP to end of warrantyBe responsible of any technical communications to the customer and external stakeholders such as contractors or consortiumBe accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solutionOrganize Design Review with customer when necessaryManage the technical scope of the project and deal with internal and external sub-systems interfaces, reaching the performances requiredRaise the project technical risks and build the corresponding mitigation plan with the PrEMBuild the input configuration base line with customer inputs for deployment of the solution by the DLUBe responsible of the On-Shore project design and application engineering activitiesEnsure reaching the contractual performances requiredApprove all technical documents (including engineering, installation and T&C)Coordinate with the project core team and Integrate the ALSTOM solution in the projectProvide all necessary technical inputs to the PrEM for deployment process applicationProvide all technical documents to the project core team members for the industrialization, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning (Migration Plan, External Interfaces, Input for SyOCD, …)Solve technical issues detected by different core team members with the collaboration of Design Leading Unit of each sub-systemsControls the technical consistency through a strong engineering process management, quality, cost and delivery approachEnsure complete application of all Engineering ProcessesContribute to claims and variation orders identification and developmentManage the project solution, meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments:Supervise the Project Requirements Database (PRD) coverage and demonstrationLead the global project Change Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Management, delegation to PrEM during design phaseDuring project warranty, coordinate actions to support resolution of pending technical issues following Project Warranty Manager (PrWM) requirementsPerformance measurements:Project QCDP (quality, cost, delivery on time and performance)Customer approval about technical documents or other technical concerns of the projectFull coverage of contractual project requirementsEXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCESEducational RequirementsMandatory:Master degree from Electrical or Electronical Engineering SchoolDesirable:Degree in Signaling competencyExperienceMandatory:8 Years of professional experience in Engineering / Technical functions5 Years of professional experience in RailwayDesirable:Experience of managing diverse team and proficiency in people managementKnowledge and experience in integration activityCompetencies & SkillsSpeaking local language (same than the customer), fluent in EnglishDemonstrate QCD commitment on delivering engineering worksStrong technical leadership Behavioral and able to interact with multidisciplinary teamsAble to ensure a proper application Disciplined Processes to deliver complex engineeringCapability to take decisionCreate EnthusiasmPromote TeamworkFoster Open Dialogue and ListensManage Conflicts of IdeasAct as a Team PlayerGood co-ordination and communication skillsJob Segment: Information Technology, IT Manager, Project Manager, GIS, Advertising, Technology, Marketing
