Job Summary

QA Team Leader who combines strong technical skills with the ability to guide and inspire a growing team. This role is a mix of hands-on testing and leadership, set in a fast-moving, start-up atmosphere—but backed by the strength of a well-established global company.
You'll play a key role in shaping QA practices, mentoring team members, and ensuring we deliver products that meet the highest quality standards. Reporting to Director V&V & SQA

Essential Functions

Lead, mentor, and support a QA team, fostering collaboration and growth.
Stay hands-on with manual testing, balancing leadership with active participation.
Apply and promote QA methodologies
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases
Manage test plans, execution, and reporting using TestRail
Ensure effective tracking and workflow management with JIRA.
Identify opportunities for automation and support adoption where valuable.
Bring a proactive, start-up mindset—streamlining processes, spotting risks early, and driving improvements.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field – advantage
5+ years of QA experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Familiarity or experience with automation frameworks—an advantage.
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies; ISTQB or equivalent is a plus.
Experience with TestRail (or similar tools) and JIRA (required).
ISTQB Certificate Preferred

Performance/Load testing basics – advantage
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Strong technical and analytical skills with proven manual testing expertise.
