What you'll do:

• Lead the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Take a hands-on role in accounting operations, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Take full ownership of accounting activities across multiple subsidiaries, managing each entity end-to-end, from day-to-day operations through closing and reporting.
• Build and improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows to support a growing multi-entity environment.
• Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors, managing ongoing communication and ensuring smooth audit and compliance processes.
• Support and manage intercompany transactions and consolidations across entities.
• Drive operational excellence across the accounting function, identifying areas for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Own key accounting areas and ensure alignment with US GAAP standards.

Must have:

• Certified CPA with a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1.5–2 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or similar role, following internship experience at a Big 4 firm.
• Strong hands-on experience with full monthly close processes.
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment, with an understanding of subsidiary-level accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Highly detail-oriented and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with external stakeholders.
• Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience in a startup or high-growth tech company.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Familiarity with automation tools or AI-based workflows.
