Overview

The Program Manager will be the execution backbone of our R&D organization. This role translates strategy into coordinated, multi-team programs; drives budget and vendor discipline; surfaces risks early; and gives the VP of R&D clear, data-driven visibility into progress and bottlenecks. This significant leader maintains a wide engineering view, standardizes delivery processes, and continually tunes the operating system of the entire engineering org.

On your day to day

Riverside is looking for a Head of Security. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing our security strategy across infrastructure, applications, and corporate environments. You’ll establish and enforce security best practices, proactively monitor and respond to threats, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will also work cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal and Finance to embed security into everything we do. With Riverside scaling rapidly, you’ll be making a critical impact from day one.

What Will Make You Stand Out?

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in security leadership roles, ideally in fast-paced or hyper-growth environments
• Proven experience securing AWS cloud-native infrastructure 
• Deep understanding of modern threat landscapes and experience implementing proactive defense strategies
• Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Strong background in security incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessment
• Familiarity with securing Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive awareness and foster a security-first culture across technical and non-technical teams, including high level of spoken and written English
• Experience working with remote and hybrid engineering teams.
