Description:
Team8's fintech startup is seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer to join our team. If you're interested in being part of a development group that is building a system from the ground up, we are significantly expanding our team and need experienced individuals who thrive in the 0 to 1 stage!
Key Opportunities
- Core Team Member: Become a critical part of the R&D team, driving technical innovation and best practices.
- Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
- Automation & Efficiency: Spearhead automation initiatives to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve system reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Security, Product, and other teams to seamlessly integrate DevOps practices across the organization.
- Strategic Impact: Play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s cloud and DevOps strategy, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and long-term success.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer, with extensive experience in cloud computing technologies, preferably AWS.
- Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting and automation skills, ideally using Python and bash.
- IaC Tools: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- GitOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD methodologies and tools like ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, GitHub Actions….
- Kubernetes: Proven experience working with Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments.
- Networking & Security: A solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals, and cloud security concepts.
- Communication & Execution: Excellent communication skills and the ability to execute projects from design to implementation.
- Advantage: Familiar with Dataops
