We are looking for IT Service Specialist for a student position/ part - time to join our wonderful team!

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Provide direct, hands-on IT support for hardware assembly, peripheral setup, cabling, imaging, OS, and email/connectivity issues across local and remote teams. 
• Manage user identities, permissions, and licensing in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD. 
• Perform hardware setup and physical maintenance, including workstation assembly, cabling, peripheral installation, and direct technical troubleshooting. 
•  Handleticketing, SLA tracking, vendor operations, and IT documentation. 
•  Understanding and experience with AI tools 
•  Assist with initial Tier 1 response, including basic technical support, password resets, and handling routine user inquiries. 

This is a part-time position 2-3 times a week with flexible hours suited for university schedules. 

• Student in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree (1-2 years remaining). 
• Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, component replacement, and workstation setup. 
•  Solid grasp of networking protocols, Microsoft 365, and basic cloud/security concepts. 
•  Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-oriented service skills. 
• Experience or understanding in providing Tier 1 support, ticketing systems, and basic technical support.
