Data Developer

Description:

As part of the team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing solutions to help users retrieve data effectively. 

• Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
• Transform and model data models, design the schemas, and maintain the data layers within the data warehouse using dbt
• Manage the data warehouses to support analytical reporting and real-time needs.
• Develop, optimize, and manage database entities.
• Translate business requirements into data model implementations.
• Ensure data accuracy and enforce governance policies through data quality checks and validations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Products, and RND, to gather and understand data requirements and implement development in order to support their data needs
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance data processes and capabilities.
• Coordinate and deliver data development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meeting quality standards.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies. Provide support for data incidents and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the data filed
• Suggest design, product, and process changes for better efficiency and effectiveness.

• At least 3 years of experience with data development over platforms serving production and RT environments - must
• Expertise in Advanced SQL coding include function, procedures - a must
• At least 2 years of experience in Bigquery/Snowflake or equivalent - a must
• Understanding of data warehousing and data-modeling techniques
• Familiar with DBT
• Experience working with API - an advantage
• Working experience with AI/Data science teams - an advantage
• Familiar working with Tableau server - an advantage
