Director of Market Research

Fiverr is seeking a Director of Market Research & Strategy to evolve its research department into a strategic powerhouse. Rather than acting as a service provider, you will be a visionary leader who uncovers the "why" behind consumer behavior to influence C-level decision-making and shape the company’s global roadmap. This role is at the intersection of deep psychological insight and rigorous statistical analysis.

• Drive Strategic Leadership: Develop a comprehensive research roadmap to identify new business opportunities and solve critical market challenges.
• Oversee Methodological Excellence: Design and manage end-to-end Qualitative and Quantitative initiatives, including deep-dive interviews, focus groups, and complex surveys.
• Act as C-Suite Advisor: Translate complex data into actionable narratives for executive management, serving as an expert in-house consultant.
• Synthesize Global Insights: Merge primary research with big data to create a holistic view of the market and drive business logic.
• Manage Operations & Budget: Own the research budget, manage vendor relationships, and monitor global industry trends.
• Mentor Talent: Directly manage and coach a dedicated researcher/analyst to ensure high-quality output.

• 8–10 years in Market Research and Strategy.
• Background in top-tier research institutes or consulting firms, followed by in-house experience at global tech companies.
• Proven experience managing research across diverse international markets.
• Qualitative Mastery: Exceptional depth-interviewing skills to identify psychological barriers and hidden motivations.
• Quantitative Rigor: Deep understanding of survey design, sampling, and statistical significance.
• Business Acumen: Ability to translate high-level executive needs into specific research objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Master’s Degree (MA/MBA) with a focus on research methods and statistics is a significant advantage.
