Description:
Plus500, a leading fintech company, is looking for a talented and self-driven Payments Analyst with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. This role is pivotal in providing in-depth insights into inbound and outbound customer payment processes while optimizing performance and costs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the performance and cost of payment providers and recommend action plans to management
- Create financial models for data-oriented decision support
- Perform periodical operational metrics tracking and ad hoc reporting
- Recommend actions by making comparative analyses of existing setups and proposed changes
- Evaluate financial performance by analyzing actual results vs. forecasts
- Communicate with payment providers, Back Office, and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics
- Familiarity with BI platforms (Tableau - advantage)
- Familiarity with Python and data management tools (Access, SQL, Excel/VBA etc.)
- Complex problem-solving ability, agility to dynamic environment and strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Impeccable attention to details
